Our Mission Statement
Land of Medicine Buddha is a Center devoted to the transmission of the Mahayana Buddhist tradition and values through teaching, meditation and community service, located in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Our organization is based on the Buddhist tradition of Lama Tsong Khapa of Tibet as taught to us by our founder, Lama Thubten Yeshe and our Spiritual Director, Lama Zopa Rinpoche.
We provide integrated education through which people’s minds and hearts can be transformed into their highest potential for the benefit of others, inspired by an attitude of universal responsibility.
As caretakers of a sacred space we offer facilities, spiritual teachings & services and an atmosphere supporting people’s inner healing and development to their full potential of infinite wisdom and compassion. |
